AltLayer is a decentralized protocol designed to enhance blockchain rollups' security, performance, and interoperability. It uses "Restaked Rollups," integrating existing rollup stacks like OP Stack and Arbitrum Orbit with EigenLayer's restaking mechanism for improved security and decentralization.

Its Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) platform allows users to quickly launch customized rollups, supporting both ephemeral and persistent rollups.
